Scouting

I started scouting when I was a kid in elementary school. I kept at it all the way through high school, from 2008 to 2018.

The best part? I got to travel! My school paid for me to go to scout events in different cities. I saw new places and met people from all walks of life. It was like a mini cultural exchange program. But it was also where I first learned about leadership and making decisions.

In 2017, two big things happened:

• I became a Pramuka Garuda (equivalent to Eagle Scout). This is the highest rank in Indonesian Scouting.
• I was nominated as Most Outstanding Rover Scout by Indonesia's Ministry of Youth, based on several assessments of my achievements, personality, scouting skills, and community project.

These achievements weren't endpoints. Instead, they fueled a realization: the world is vast, varied, and waiting to be explored.

Now, I love to travel. Scouting showed me how fun it is to explore new places. It's still one of my favorite things to do.
